Sad to hear you feel that way. It's a shame because I came up with this video myself because it actually made a big difference and Insta360 were happy to get behind it. The audio samples in the video are all real too. Insta360 started backing us because of how we were using their cameras, not the other way round. Up to you of course.

Great question! I think it depends on your budget more than anything else. I'd choose later cars personally... But if that's not leaving much cash for mods then you'll have to find the best car you can that fits your budget.

I mount it so that that one lens is up and one down. If you mount them facing left and right, that's when stitch lines are more visible. Otherwise, double check you've not enabled any settings that change stitching, like lensguard settings or independent exposure.

In this shoot I didn't extend the selfie stick as far. That means you need to widen the angle to fit the car in so that causes the bulge. It's not down to the camera.

I did say it's loud. Each to their own of course.

@sportzntouring I know, but you have sport cats, and in a previous comment, you said "On stock cats I found it was fine, actually sounded how I thought it should have from factory". That's why I put some real measures of the sound level, as everyone has it's own idea. By the way, I do like the sound and the exhaust, don't get me wrong, I just need to get used to something that is a lot more than what I wanted. Thanks.

I have Cobra HFCs. They lasted about 30,000 miles then I had to replace them. I wouldn't do it on stock cats... They'll get eaten up way faster and are too restrictive. Your tuner should advise you against it.

It's unrealistic to remove all wind noise at higher speeds but you can reduce it to acceptable levels, within reason... All audio in this short was unfiltered in post. Max speed driven was 60mph/98kmh. Wind noise reduction was on with these wind muffs.

If you're in the UK, the KW kit is via Abbey Motorsport (as mentioned in the video). The front splitter and side skirts were from Carbon Signal in Dubai. The rear carbon diffuser was from Fly1 in the US. And the rear spoiler lip was from Yatt in Thailand, via Facebook.

I was told, 20 miles is enough to scrub the outer coating. I did 100-ish miles and found them fantastic from there.

You say that but, the Nismo in this video came with Dunlops, but these Continentals really blew them out of the water so that's not always true. It depends.

Prelude...... Not the greatest of power nor torque but I agree that those FF 🇯🇵 motors are great fun. My first car was a Datsun 100A - handled much better than 2nd motor..... MkIi Capri 1600XL. Don't ask about 3rd motor..... Please - just don't 😁😁😁 lol.

I've also owned numerous sets of A to B wheels that don't really warrant talking about, but I raised a family in that Prelude, it was such a great all-rounder. However, times change, and I now have adequate horsepower and torque to waft me around, and often go looking for roads to hoover up. 😉

Thanks for the detailed comment. But, if you want a smoother gear change, a slight lift is how you get it. If you are driving hard, and want the hard shift, you stay flat. Regarding the clutch wear, I appreciate the thoughts, but wonder what your basis is for this? It's just that the advice I've had on this is from highly credible sources, including an ex Audi engineer (manufacturer, not a dealer tech)... And that inertia gets dissipated somewhere, no?

Got splitter, skirts and rear diffuser on way. Your vid on coilovers got me wanting those and especially the HLS. High flow cats and z1 intake next before a tune. Awesome! Before you try to film something important, take your time testing it out and getting used to cleaning and drying the surface, aligning the cups to the surface and checking for a solid attachment once you pump the suction cups. Then, get creative!

Nice! Yeah, I started with an '05 350Z, then an '09 370Z, then the 2015+ V2 Nismo which I much prefer the look of. There's actually a lot under the skin that's different on the Nismo too. The seats alone are about 8k a pair new. Then there's the extra chassis bracing and dampening and many other tweaks. It's actually great value for what you get. But, each to their own of course.

@@sportzntouring yeah good points. If I had the money I would have gone with the Nismo and Supercharger but I didn't so I had to choose. I went with having more 'POWER!' at some point lol. Great content. Keep up the good work.

Thank you! I'm glad my work can get that level of appreciation. It is one of the more expensive options for sure, but I appreciate having it especially as I use it on other cars that aren't mine.
